Cookie policy
Cookies are small files your browser stores in order to remember things. This site uses the bare minimum — and explains exactly what.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file written to your browser when you visit a site. It is used to remember preferences, keep sessions alive and measure, in aggregate, how pages are used. Cookies do not open files on your device or read what you type elsewhere.
2. What this site uses today
Right now, the only preference stored is the theme (light or dark), and it stays in your browser, in local storage — it is not a cookie and it never leaves your device.
- Themes and local preferences: saved in the browser's local storage and never sent to the server.
- Third-party cookies: none published at the moment.
- Advertising and affiliates: no ad script active today.
3. Types of cookie that may exist
When the site gains tools, they fall into these categories:
- Necessary: keep the site running (security, load balancing). Without them, parts of the site may break.
- Preferences: store choices such as language or theme.
- Analytics: help understand, in aggregate, which pages are read.
- Marketing: used to measure campaigns or personalize ads — they only come in with clear notice and reader control.

5. How to control cookies
- delete cookies through your browser settings;
- block third-party cookies without losing access to the content;
- use private browsing so nothing is saved;
- clear local storage to reset the theme preference.
The instructions live in the privacy settings of the browser itself — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all have sections dedicated to this.
6. Changes to this policy
Every new tool that requires a cookie will be listed here before we treat its use as settled. The update date is recorded below.
